I should also note

that when I transferred my hunter, I finally gave her a name-change. Her original name was Kesia when she was on Cenarion Circle. Then I moved her to Lothar (this was many years ago), and kept getting “derp that name’s taken already, Stupid!” messages, and so I started guessing whatever came to mind, including an old screen name I used to go by– “Candlelight”. My luck? It wasn’t taken. So I ran around with a hunter named Candlelight for a long time.

Her new name is Kenyon, which has been a favorite name of mine for about eight years. I’m so glad I snagged it!

Candlelight will then go to a priest, of course! Hehe.

Kenyon dinged 74 yesterday in Isle of Conquest. Note: I hate that damned battleground. Alliance was winning by a longshot– 10 matches in a row!– but the Horde caught onto our strategy and started rushing Docks and/or Hangar. So we switched to rushing the Workshop…after a few matches, they started ignoring Docks to rush Workshop, and so on. It was almost like someone on the Ally side was telling someone on the Horde side what it was we were doing.

ALSO, THERE WAS A MULTI-BOXING DRUID. FIVE. BOXES. FIVE. FIVE BOOMKINS MOONFIRED ME AT ONCE. Holy crap did I die.

Wow, so…

Been a little while. I transferred my 71 hunter and my 60 mage from Lothar (since I doubt I’ll play there again, anyway) to Bronzebeard, where there’s a nice Alliance guild (Daughters of the Alliance).

I noticed that people are already QQing in battlegrounds this morning.

First of all, let me make this PERFECTLY CLEAR.

The game brackets are given.

If you’re IN THAT BRACKET, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO JOIN THE BATTLEGROUND.

I am so fucking sick of people crying because a level 71, or 74, or even 76 join a 71-79 battleground bracket. Shut the hell up and just play the game. If you lose, GUESS WHAT? You can REQUEUE and get in in FIVE MINUTES OR LESS, and surprise-surprise, YOU CAN DO THIS ALL DAY LONG! (All weekend long, even!)

Also, noting that the opposing side has two whole people under level 77? IS NOT WHINING. QQING. Or ANY SUCH THING. GEESH. I made this statement because everyone was like WAHHH THEY’RE SO OP and all that. If they didn’t notice, I joined the BG 5 minutes before it ended. :| When we were being herded back into our keep. And nobody was even twenty feet from it because they died if they tried to leave. Not because I was QQing about my low level. I don’t care if we win or lose– it’d be NICE to win. But big deal if we don’t.
